The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is a scientific body established by the United Nations to assess and provide information on climate change, its impacts, and potential adaptation and mitigation strategies.

The IPCC has 3 Working Groups, and we at Working Group II assesses the vulnerability of socio-economic and natural systems to climate change, negative and positive consequences of climate change and options for adapting to it.

In the 7th assessment cycle of the IPCC, Working Group II is led by Co-Chairs
Bart van den Hurk and Winston Chow, and supported by the Technical Support Unit (TSU).

We know the IPCC process can be tricky to follow, so we hope to provide you timely updates on what we are working on to keep you informed.
